What is the best high-quality makeup brush set?
I would like around 10 brushes. What's the best brand in your opinion?
I was looking at things like MAC, NARS, Chanel, Lancome, etc.
I also want the bristles to be very soft because I have sensitive skin.
I had a set by sephora for a few years but I've heard they aren't the best.
So any ideas?

NARS, MAC and Shu Uemura are the best.
However, you have to go and feel the bristles for yourself, and decide how you like the feeling of them on your face.
For things like a foundation brush, synthetic ones are better.
Terry Harrison brushes
Terry Harrison brushes are some of the best brushes around for the watercolour artist whether experienced or novice these brushes offer something for everyone. Especially designed to hold more paint and each brush is created to do a specific job in a much better way than standard brushes.
I love the versatile Golden Leaf Brush. this one inch brush can be used to perform so many jobs it's almost a brush set in its own right. Perfect for skies and long washes I think this brush is the first one any watercolour artist should have at their disposal. It also makes painting bushes and leaves so easy it's unbelievable.
The Fan Stippler is another one of my favourites. What I love about the Terry Harrison fan stippler brush is that it is much thicker than a standard fan brush which means it holds a lot more paint for longer. Another brush that makes painting trees and grass a simple matter. i didn't really start having any succes with painting foilage until i started to use Terry Harrison Brushes.
I've been using Terry Harrison brushes for well over a year now and I'm very happy with them. In fact i'd be lost without them. I know from my own experience that having the right brush makes all the difference to your painting. I wasted a long time trying to create certain effects with, what I now realise, were the wrong kind of brushes.
Other Terry Harrison brushes that I would be lost without are the fantastic Golden Foliage which makes painting trees and branches a doddle. All you have to do is stipple over the paper to achieve some fantastic foliage effects. Something I tried to do for ages before I started to use this brush set.
The Fan Gogh makes painting fir trees so simple it's unbelievable. This is a fan but much better than the standard fan, for one thing it's thicker and holds the paint well. As well as fir trees painting grass and reeds is so easy you'll wonder why you couldn't do it before.
There's so many Terry Harrison brushes to choose from that you have a brush for everything you want to paint. I'd find it difficult to pick a favourite Terry Harrison brush because I find all of mine valuable and I love using them.
My watercolour painting improved when I started to use Terry Harrison brushes. I always found it difficult to paint foliage until I bought and learned how to use terry Harrison brushes. Since using the brushes my painting and my confidence have improved which is why I have no hesitation in recommending them to my customers and why they remain a constant best seller.
