Some useful guideline when using a CHI straightener iron
It is known that the CHI straightener iron produces heat. Though it may help strengthen the hair, it can also help damage it. So, in order to protect your precious hair, read on for some very useful guidelines that will help protect your hair from damage.
Do not use it frequently. If your tresses have become overdependent on your straightener iron, it is at risk of being damaged. It is advisable to straighten or iron your locks only 3 days a week at maximum.
Though, the CHI iron provides less moisture due to the combination of far infrared and ionic technologies. The far infrared heats the ceramic plates of the CHI hair iron. If you are not careful, you can easily burn your hair. To avoid that, you can use protective creams or gels when straightening your hair using the CHI iron..
Do not use blow dryers and using the CHI flat iron at the same time. Too much heat can cause further damage. It is best to dry your hair with air first before using the flat iron. Wet hair is prone to further damage than wet hair because damp or wet hair being introduced to heat can weaken your hair.
As much as possible, start with a low temperature when ironing your hair. Then slowly raise the temperature as the hair starts becoming used to the rising heat.
If you don't have enough time to air dry your hair, then use a blow dryer if you have to, but you must put on a protective spray all over you hair. Remember that a genuine CHI straightener has a better chance of providing safe ironing experience for your hair.
