This is a poem for the "Mighty"- comments, critique?
Two faced critic far superior
You jeer and make inferior, insult
Ulterior motive bleeding wearier,
Injury rests in his burdened heart.
Mighty the claim, your name, exert power
Jolly this giant, exercise dictate-
You’re higher degree, climb down your tower
The King demands the crown, where you don’t rate.
The words are clumsy, I speak weird, foreign
Lets send you to Kindergarten, learn a few
Manners, play nice, role model citizen-
ship, don’t use the scissors to cut your poo.
Don’t delude yourself in being bitter
Be humble, there is always someone better.
This superior poem has certainly put me in my place. I hereby recant every bad thing I've ever said on Yahoo. Why, this is a masterpiece which succinctly hits the nail on the head with unbounded craftsmanship. What style, what skill, what grace, what poetic artistry. Who can possibly follow such an epitome of written mastery of expression? I hereby consign myself to the realms of Morpheus, where I can only hope to dream of being half as good a poet as the author of this magnum opus. Never again will I criticize another poem - I am indeed an altered Toad.
